Below is a brief excerpt from some important
instructions related to Yoga Sadhana, that I received
from my Sannyasa
Guru, Swami Niranjanananda Saraswati. This message although
personal, I will share with serious Yoga Sadhaks / aspirants,
because with the current global interest in yoga, seekers
of truth (satya) should be aware that a valuable ingredient is necessary.
It is up to you to work out what it is and act if it rings a bell for you.hould Yoga Sadhana It is important to only practice the Sadhana
given from the Guru. This point cannot be stressed enough. There are
literally millions of Sadhanas around that people can try. If they are worth
practicing, they will have a profound effect on the psyche and the
spiritual plane. Unless you are an expert of the highest calibre, it is
impossible to understand what these will be. At worst your sanity may be at
stake and at best the practices may have no effect at all. The practices
are not really important in themselves; it is what happens to your mind,
awareness, emotions, prana, etc as a result of the practices that is
